Students will conclude our study of Egyptian mummification. On Thursday, students were introduced to the practice of embalming. On Friday, an Egyptian Shesbat (mummification specialists) visited the class and performed a mummification with the help of World History students. By the end of class on Monday, students will be able to recall and describe the important sets in the mummification process with 90% accuracy. Students will be able to explain the role mummification played in the Egyptian religion with 98% accuracy.
