8th Grade American History

Students will analyze and evaluate the actions of the Colonial Army following the defeat at the battle of Long Island.  Students will analyze and evaluate Washington's leadership following the capture and surrender of forts Washington and Lee.  Students will be able to explain how these events led to mass desertions in the Colonial Army, and the desperation that followed with 95% accuracy.  Students will be able to describe the events leading up to the battle of Trenton, and the lessons Washington has learned from failure with 95% accuracy.  Students will have a podcast assignment posted on the desktop computers in the school's computer lab.  Podcast will be due 2/2/12.
