Students will analyze and interpret the reaction of the
Colonists after the battles of Lexington, Concord, and Bunker Hill. Students will then weigh the pros and cons on whether the colonists should fight for representation, recognition, or independence. Students will interpret the Olive Branch petition from the view
of King George III, create a response and then evaluate his reaction.
