Students will evaluate evidence
for tectonic plate shift and the synthesize the changes of earths continents by
analyzing the Appalachian Mountains. Students will use this geographic
evidence to formulate predictions about the future of the continents.
Students will be able to explain how the Appalachian mountains create ideal
environments for forests with 90% accuracy. Students will be able to
differentiate between deciduous and conifer forests with 95% accuracy.
