8th Grade American History

Students will interpret, analyze and evaluate competing theories for the discovery of America.  Students will use the tools of a good historian to differentiate between good, bad, suspect, and accurate evidence, artifacts, fossils and data.  Students will then choose, defend, and debate competing theories and conclude with a synthesis of historically accurate information.
