7th Grade Geography

Geography students will develop an understanding of the fundamental elements of cartography and the processes of map making. Students will create a thematic map, physical map, and political map including all the essential components of maps like map key, scale, etc. It is recommended that students check-out a textbook and review pages 5-13, focusing on the terms and themes of those select pages.  Students should have already completed a 15 question sheet reinforcing this material.
