Students will analyze the difficulties and achievements of
the Athenians during the design and construction of the Parthenon.
Students will be able to explain how the Athenians overcame the optical
illusions that could have affected the Parthenon's architecture. Students
will formulate and defend an argument on whether the Parthenon is a more
impressive construction operation than the Giza Pyramids.
