Students will conclude their
examination of the Spartan social structure, emphasizing its similarity to
previous societies as a foundation for subsequent Greece civilizations. Students will be able to identify at least four Spartan cultural values with 100% accuracy. Students will describe the Spartan-Helot relationship with 95% accuracy. Students will then participate in a Spartan oligarchy to experience it's successes and failures. Students will be able to explain how the Spartan oligarchy created a system of government used by western civilizations like America with 100% accuracy. Podcast due 4/2/12.
