Students will apply their
experiences as archaeologists to the discovery of Lucy. Students will analyze
and evaluate the fossil evidence, and compare it to previous discoveries. Students will
understand the various changes in human development beginning 3.5 million years
ago to present. We will then begin our study of recent paleoanthropological discoveries that predate Lucy, and their significance. Students have a podcast assignment due Friday 9/9/11. The assignment was started in class, but will need to be complete outside of class.
