Students will interpret the events leading up to entrance of France into the Revolutionary War. Students will evaluate the roles of John Adams and Benjamin Franklin as American Ambassadors. Students will analyze the diplomatic negotiations and behind-the-scenes deals as a cause for the French to participate in the war. Students will then create an argument for why France should, or should not ally themselves with America.
