Students will begin our examination of the Amazon River system. Students will be able to give specific data examples on the size, length, volume, etc. of the Amazon River with 100% accuracy. Students will be able to identify at least 6 survival adaptations of Amazonian River animals with 95% accuracy. Students will be able to synthesis how the world's largest river has small beginnings. Students will then apply their mastery of this river to their understanding of our next South American region.
