8th Grade American History

Students will analyze American post-Industrial Revolution political issues in the early 1820's that were key to the Missouri Compromise.  Students will debate, judge, cooperate, problem solve and consensus build around these issues in a multi-tasked class activity.  Students will interpret the significant components of the Missouri Compromise, and make inferences about its future ramifications in America.  Students will judge how strong these issues were in the election of 1824.
