8th Grade American History

Students will conclude our examination of the American Industrial Revolution.  Students will be able to fully describe 6 American innovations or inventions and explain how each changed America.  Students will be able to define and describe assembly line, division of labor, and the factory system.  Students will be able to explain how these changes to American economics and business impacted slaves, northern merchants, poor, cities, and skilled labor.  Students should read pages 305 to 317 to reinforce the classroom activities. We will then progress to the Election of 1824.
