6th Grade World History

Students will begin our study of the Athenians with a brief investigation of the two linking factors between Sparta and Athens.  These factors being language and religion.  Students will briefly examine the alphabet, structure, and use of Greek language.  Students will utilize their knowledge of Greek language to decipher, translate, and communicate with each other as the Greeks would communicate.
