Students will examine and evaluate the legislative acts or policies which contributed to the causes of the Revolutionary War. Students will focus on; 1) What issues did each act seek to resolve? 2) What was the rational for the creation of each act 3) Was Britain right to create each act? 4) What was the reaction of the Colonists? 5) Was the reaction of the Colonists justified? The first four acts that have been examined and evaluated in class have been podcasted. Students will use class time on 12/2/11 to continue their Google Doc Persuasive Essay, a 21st century skill and tool. The essay will be due before 12/22/11 with a date TBA.
