6th Grade World History

Students will conclude our examination of Egyptian hieroglyphics, how language has progressed from the previous languages we have studied, and it's influence on Egyptian culture.  Students will then perform a comparative analysis of significant Egyptian pharaohs.  Students will utilize their new understanding of significant Egyptian pharaohs and combine it with their previous understanding of gender roles in Egypt to produce a collective hypothesis for the change over time of pharaoh roles and genders to the modern era.
