6th Grade World History

Students will begin our study of the Roman civilization.  We will begin with a brief examination of the geography of the Apennine Peninsula.  Students will be able to explain at least 3 reasons why the location of Rome was an ideal choice for civilization with 96% accuracy (p. 327-330).  We will then progress to Roman society and culture (p.331-334).
