Students will begin our examination
of the causes of the Revolutionary War. Students will focus on British legislation and tax policies. Students will be able to
synthesize each legislative act or policy with 95% accuracy. Students
will be able to evaluate acts and policy with 90% accuracy. Students will
apply their mastery of the causes of the Revolutionary War to formulate a persuasive essay. The rubric for the essay is podcasted. Students will use Google Docs to write, edit and critique their own and other persuasive essays. The essay question is
as follows. Is the American revolution justified?
