8th Grade American History

Students will analyze the establishment and development of the Plymouth colony and evaluate their success and failures as they compare to previous attempts to colonize North America. Students will focus on the emergence of the idea of America, its identity and future through colonization.  Students will formulate,appraise and defend an argument based on Roger Williams' and John Winthrop's proposed plans for America.
